RP2040 Core Board TYPE-C USB-C For Raspberry – 16MB
The RP2040 Microprocessor (MCU) integrates a dual-core ARM Cortex-M0+ architecture core, directly integrates 264KB of RAM, supports up to 16M QSPI external expansion Flash, and offers highly flexible I/O settings, including I2C, SPI, and PIO (Programmable I/O). The YD-RP2040 core board is a circuit board made with the RP2040 microprocessor (MCU), designed for easy peripheral expansion, circuit design, and construction by users. Raspberry Pi has also launched its own official RP2040 core board, known as the Raspberry Pi Pico core board. The YD-RP2040 core board achieves mechanical size and electrical pin compatibility with the Raspberry Pi Pico core board. However, there are differences which users should note, and the YD-RP2040 core board addresses several deficiencies found in the Raspberry Pi Pico core board:
- Increased the PWR power indicator to enhance the user experience when connected to a USB power supply.
- Changed the microUSB interface of the Raspberry Pi Pico to a Type-C interface on the YD-RP2040 core board, making it more convenient for users to find compatible USB cables.
- Added a reset button for convenient resetting and firmware updates while powered on.
- Added a USRkey user button for verifying and using simple input functions.
- Included an RGB light group, allowing users to control the RGB lights to convey various information through on-off states and brightness adjustments of the red, green, and blue lights.
Update firmware operation process:
1. First, insert the TYPE-C interface USB cable, and connect the other end to the computer;
2. Long press the BOOT button ;
3. Press the RST button;
4. Release the BOOT button after 1 second;
5. The computer will automatically recognize it as a removable hard disk;
6. Copy the file to be downloaded (burned) to the removable hard disk that appears, and the core board will restart automatically
